A student can apply for the student visa to study in the UK if they are above the age of 16, You are offered a place on a course through a licensed student sponsor, you have the required funds to support yourself and pay for the course, you are proficient in English speaking, reading as well as writing, and if you are 16 or 17, you will need the consent from your parents while applying as well.
